After attending the University of Iowa, Emery Rouw returned home to take over the family farming operation and began farming in 1973. Over the years, he has been recognized for his dedication to conservation and environmental stewardship, earning Conservation Farmer of the Year in 2010 and Iowa Farm Environmental Leader in 2012.
